I'm doing an outdoor village barbeque on Sunday afternoon/evening.

So, I shall be keeping the following at the top of my "box"

Buddy Holly - Raining in my heart
Cascades - Rhythm of the rain
Madonna - Rain
Albert Hammond - It never rains in Southern California
Tina Turner - I can't stand the rain
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Who'll stop the rain
Carole King - It might as well rain until September
Bob Dylan - Hard rain's gonna fall
BJ Thomas - Raindrops keep falling on my head
Travis - Why does it always rain on me
Supertramp - Its raining again

Hey, call me the eternal optimist, why don't ya? smile.gif

It might be more appropiate to keep a rather big brolly at the top of your box!

Failing that and your quite happy sitting under a gazebo!

Bob Marley Vs Funkstar De Luxe - Rainbow Country
Bruce Ruffin - Rain
The Cascades - Rhythm Of The Rain
Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over The Rainbow wacko.gif

Lighthouse Family - Raincloud
Bitty McLean - It Keeps Rainin

I hope that they're promising you something more than just a gazebo.

I've gone through 3 or 4 fabric/canvas gazebos, just for domestic use and found none that are truely waterproof. (Light) Shower proof? Yes... anything more than light shower and you get a mist of water descending from the ceiling of the gazebo, over everything.

I once did an outdoor gig in weather-threatening conditions with one of those Garden plastic growing frames on the table.

The frame about 18inches high, by 4ft long - worked a treat - covered the mixer/cd decks, and one flightcase of CD's.

If you don't get adequate cover "I Can't Stand The Rain" by Ann Peebles may be appropriate.

Ah! Westy, you beat me to it biggrin.gif

Just looked at the 5-day forecast (should that be fivecast?) and it looks like sunshine and 24°C for Sunday.

So, I've put all my rain records back at the bottom of the box and brought up:

Beatles - Here comes the sun
Katrina and the Waves - Walking on sunshine
Kinks - Sunny afternoon
Cream - Sunshine of your love
Donovan - Sunshine Superman
Gabrielle - Sunshine

oh, have thrown the brolly away, too fear.gif

You're brave, believing a five day forecast. Having owned a boat for a good number of years I could probably count on both hands the number of times the 5 day forecast was correct when it came to the 5th day.

One time the forecast changed on a day to day basis on each of the preceeding 4 days until it was completely different to the original forecast.

Good luck with the weather.

If the weather is hit and miss you`ll be able to crank up

Zoe--Sunshine on a rainy day.
