Hi,
I have seen a lighting and 8 way switching controller available and cannot remember the make and where I can get one. My local retailer used to stock them but cannot get them anymore.
It has a 8 way switching unit, 19" rack mounted and a seperate power supply that you can suspend on your rigging and you only have 1 wire between switches and power.
If anyone knows what I am on about and knows the name and make of such controller please let me know. I think you can also get a timer version of this controller so you can set a time for how long each effect comes on for.
Cheers
Steve

The product that you are thinking off was Manufactured by Lytequest and distributed in the UK by Gemini. Unfortunately Gemini no longer carry the Lytequest Range and so these are now very difficult if not impossible to buy locally.
You may find a dealer who has still got some of the Lytequests in, although it has been some time since the product was discontinued.

Chris will guide you more on this, but I use a Light Jockey, 8 switchable outputs + timer for each aswell, nice long cables just one power in + a controller cable to the head end. 19" rackmount to!

I believe that LJ versions are still available, although I am not a distributor for them, so unable to provide a quote.
A search for the item on Google should provide you with a UK distributor

Ok thanks for the help. I run my main show from a martin light jockey, But sometimes we put out a smaller show, so was looking to get a controller such as the lightquest one so it looks neat for this second show.

You could perhaps try posting a request in our Gemini support are of the forum. Rob Peck from Gemini tends to drop by from time to time, and he'd be best placed to comment on which dealer may still have Lytequest Stock.
He couldn't post the dealer info on the forum, but he can email / p.m it to you .
