For those of us that wear a Tux occasionally, which kind of collar do you prefer.
I prefer a lie flat collar, on a shirt with a patterned or frilled front.

you should always wear a winged coller shirt with a tux. a cumerbund finishs it off nicely. flat collers will only envoke the wrath of the fashion police!

Winged all the way, with the wings tucked behind the bow tie and not sticking out over the top.

Exactly!
Thats why I personally prefer lie flat, if ( and when!!) the wings pop over, it spoils the image totally.
at the prom last night everyone had wings(they were drinking red bull) but didnt see any flat collars
had my prom on tuesday... we werent that lucky we had jugs of water with our 3course meal... very smart tho westy! cant do dicky bow personaly... i just wore 2pice suite, black shirt and pink tie, same colour as d8s dres...
