I know that we have a few people on here who specialise in kids parties, such as Kazz, Kevin etc.
I'd be interested to see a list of some of the most popular tunes for kids.
As we all know, sometimes at the start of a wedding, if there are a lot of kids, you need to keep the little blighters happy. Apart from Bob The Builder, S Club-Reach, Fast Food Song and Cheeky Girls, what else is popular with the little people?

I just did one at the weekend for 6 - 11 year olds and some of the requests were:
Busted, Busted & even more Busted (mainly from the girls)
Christina Aguilera
DJ Sammy
Eminem (I ran out of time but I'll bet they knew all the words)
Beyonce
Kylie
Yes they did like the more traditional cheezy stuff as well

yep... gotta agree, Busted can do no wrong at the moment.. along with Avril Lavine. Dependant upon the age of course, kids will tell you what they want. You probably know what is flavour of the month because kids generally like what we like! However, heres a few tried and tested that always get the kids on the floor
Sk*er boi
Year 3000
Reach
Follow da leader (original)
macarena
la bomba
the list could go on... but you can get ANY kid on ANY dance floor if you show them a few dance moves - kids will copy whatever you do so you can get away with anything!

A recent 11 year old party I could have just put the busted album on repeat and gone down the pub!!!
The smoke machine is alway a big hit. The child catcher in chitty chitty bang bang should have had one, it would be easier than a cage!
Also Agado (music man, hokey cokey etc) always goes down well with the younger ones as they like the actions, at least they can watch the DJ being a wally!
