Just heard this on Radio two. I believe its a couple of years old, but I really liked it. Anyone know of a CD it is on??

It's on Disc 2 of "Sampled" Volume 1.
Yup it's also on 12" vinyl(reissued a few years ago)that track was of course sampled a few years ago.incidently the Carol Williams track was recorded in Philly and features the Salsoul Orchestra( or MFSB for our older viewers)

Kingy, you should get the whole "Sampled" series, there are some absolute gems on there. One of the best compilation series ever released IMO.
I have volumes 1 to 4, as far as I know there weren't any more than that.
