I'm getting a bit stale with my choice of disco tunes. Anyone care to suggest a set list or two to help me rekindle the spark? This is my general thought pattern:
This is a typical set:
Kool and the Gang - Ladies Night
Heatwave - Boogie Nights
Bee Gees - [any one of the main three]
Edwin Starr - Contact
Commodores - Machine Gun
Fun set:
Donna Summer - Hot Stuff
Rose Royce - Car Wash
Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
Gap Band - Oops Upside Your Head
Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting
Ladies Set:
Anita Ward - Ring My Bell
Kelly Marie - Feels Like I'm in Love
Amii Stewart - Knock on Wood
Andrea True Connection - More, More, More
Baccara - Yes Sir I Can Boogie
Loved Up set:
Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing
Barry White - My First, My Last, My Everything
Real Thing - You to Me are Everything

No, I think he means the Aretha Franklin version not the 1989 'housey' version.

No Ben!!
I haven't got this classic track and haven't heard it played for at least 10 or so years, but what a great track.
On CD anywhere, anyone??

D-Train: You're the one for me (its been classed as virtually every genre by every CD its appeared on).
Viola Wills: Gonna get along without you now.
Lipps inc :Funky Town
Brothers Johnson: Stomp
Candido: Jingo (ok not "disco" per say...but, goes well)
Stephanie Mills: Medicine Song
Edwin Starr: Contact.
All pretty fuzzy grey edged genres really, but all close enough for most.
