I have a CDN22 MK3 Cd Player and upuntil I said on here that I had had no problems what so ever with it it has been fine.
But now it's causing me problems. I mentioned in the past that the right hand draw growls on opening and closing but only when it's empty, but now I don't have any out put on the right channel.
I have swapped the leads over to make sure it just happens to the right hand cd player as the left one works fine.
Has any one any ideas.

Sounds like its been droped or bounced and you have a dry joint causing the output to fail one side...
draw problems could also be due to it being bounced...
Numark are in aldershot so you shouldnt have too much of a problem getting it to them to be fixed...

The problem can vary from model to model, but sometimes a smear of molykote grease (the type used on video player mechanisms) on each of the tray runners can sort out the problem.
You can buy it in tubes from CPC
The lack of output, like Marc says, can be a dry joint underneath the PCB. Often its where the dual Phono (RCA) output jacks are soldered to the PCB. Sometimes the pressure of continuous plugging / unplugging of leads can cause the leg of the connector to break away from the joint over time. Resoldering the joint usually solves the problem, but you need to do a little bit of pulling apart, and have basic soldering equipment in order to do it, so it's probably better refered to a service centre or Numark.

Ok call me stupid

or

or anything else you wish. Him in doors had another brain wave, two in one day is quite a record, and we checked the plugs going into the CD player from the mixer at the CD player end. Yes you've guessed it, it was out so a quick reconection and low and behold the right channel had an out put again.
I think it was just a coincidencs that the drawer growled at the same time but I can live with that. It only growls when it's empty so at close of play and first opening is fine by me. Thanks to Chris and Marc for your suggestions. If I had a wall handy I would

Rule one in troubleshooting: check connections!
Something seems funny about it only making a noise when empty.
A CD is not too heavy but as you've mentioned, makes a difference.
Has the drawer been knocked at all?

I've covered this symptom in another post, it's quite common with these mechanisms for them to growl a little after they've had a bit of use. It's because the plastic cogs resonate a little , the extra load of the CD sometimes stops it. These cogs are a loose fit, no harm will occur, it won't get very much worse. Certain Soundlab, American DJ and Electrovision models with the same mechanism suffer a similar noise.
