There's a couple of tracks I've been searching for recently that I could only find on vinyl, and I'd been searching shops/the net for CD or mp3 versions. I found a site today called www.traxsource.com that has a good range of upfront dance stuff inc Funky House and you can choose 192 or 320 kbs and choose the mix you prefer or have all the mixes of a particular track for a reasonable rate. It's all billed in US$ but you can pay using PayPal. You can obviously listen to the tracks before choosing to buy.
Great site thumbup.gif

Here's the two tracks I just bought, great pieces of music notworthy.gif
Groove Junkies - Devotion
Bah Samba - Let The Drums Speak (Phil Ashers Restless Soul Mix)

Good find. And you're right, the prices are reasonable.

I'm always on the the lookout for such sites, along the lines of www.ha-so you thought it was only on vinyl-huh.com biggrin.gif

When they're legit, like this one appears to be.

Yep great resource cool.gif I met the guys behind Traxsource at the Defected pool party in Miami at last year's winter music conference, they had Defected's much sought after output then, and great plans for other great labels this year.

I must be well out of touch... hardly anything recognisable here.

Did a search on Manifesto, Positiva, Deconstruction & FFRR and hardly anything came up. Gah! sadwalk.gif

I got a booking for a Disco and they asked for some dance music. I am so happy sick of hearing R&B.

Mind you they did say "like you would hear in the clubs" which here in Stoke could be difficult as most of them have gone out of business.

If it's a US site then the licence won't be in valid in the UK?
