Wow - what a chunk of stuff NOT to play.
I will be phoning her later to clarify and keep you posted.
But what do you class as tacky?
(I know that one persons "tacky" could be another persons "classic" )

Tell them they are contradicting themselves as the Green Day they will be wanting was released in 2004 
It would be best to agree not to play 70's or 80's music and the naff stuff.
Bit limiting isn't it, just 2 years worth of music?

As mentioned, this rules out the baulk of Green Day's hits (they have only had three singles since 2004).
And Beyonce has only released one track (as a solo artist) since 2004!
And what's the odds that on the day they will want the Macarena, Saturday Night, and all the other dance routines (despite the avoid tacky stuff request)?
I think we all understand the gist of what they want, but I would certainly talk to them to see if they really want the "Avoid" rules rigidly enforced.
Its quite obvious what they want.
They just don't want any cheesey disco music.....Just stick with modern dance/rnb/pop.
If it doesn't work you can always try work in the actions songs like cha cha slide, macarena etc.

I have now spoken to my customer/client
what's requested is current chart stuff along with green day, black eyed peas, beyonce, etc
no Chico, Crazy Frog or "tacky" like that unless requested by guests
