Hello all,

Firstly may I thank all for the info on this Brilliant community for the information I have read about in the past. goodjob.gif

I have a little dilema on my hands, I wish to cut down on the amount of equipment that I use but retain the sound quality, I have a set of Bass bins and obviosly Top End but at the moment I run them from different amps in mono !

Is there a gizmo that I could fit to the bass end so i could plug the top end into cutting down on an amp and an Eq and leads, and getting stereo from all four speakers ????

I've tried looking but end up getting lost ??? stupid.gif

Cheers All

Hang on.

So you have four speakers and two amps?

If you could tell us what speakers and amps you use, that would be great.

What I would do (assuming there are 2 bass bins and 2 top's) is this:

1) Mixer into Graphic (and limiter?)

2) Output of graphic/limiter into one amp for bass bins

3) Another output of the graphic/limiter into another amp into the tops (all in stereo)

This way, if one amp goes, there will always be sound patriot.gif

More info needed on this one though and you may be looking at a crossover which spilts all the sounds to the correct speakers..

I've noticed a lot of DJs run the output of there mixers into a graphic eq and then to the amps..

this is not the best way of doing it if your mixer has a send and return loop...

back on topic..

if your bass bins have a crossover built in then yes you can run them connected to the top cabs..

but before you do this make sure your amp can handle the load (ohms nd watts RMS)

you should however be using the system in stereo with two amps and a active crossover..
