My fave theme tunes to use are

Joe 90
Hawaii Five-0

Of course there are loads more, always handy for opening or closing your show.
What do the rest of you use?

Ian.

I've got a mountain of this sort of thing, used for other purposes, but I can't imagine ever wanting to use it for mobile DJing.

As for favourites I'd say mine was the theme from Man In A Suitcase by Ron Grainer.
This was later used by Chris Evans on his TFI Friday late show.

Whisky In A Vase
Steady Mr ADS.

I have started playing a few during the interval but when people are eating and not in line getting their food.
I play things like, Minder, Auf Weidersein?, Littliest Hobo always goes down a treat, Hit Man & Her and Blue Bros, it is fun seeing people dissussing the tv show. Somebody always comes up and asks what they are.
For me, its like a little quiz to see if people are listening to the music, even though its low. And generally they are.

If I'm doing a pub job I sometimes finish with a cartoon / kids programe theme tune - Top Cat, Banana Splits, South Park, Hair Bear Bunch, Scooby Doo etc...

It's quite amusing to be loading the van with people walking down the street singing "Tra la la, tra la la la" etc. For some reason they always stick in people's heads.
