A few years ago I heard a version of Motorhead's "Ace of spades" by what sounded like Johnny Cash.

After years of fruitless searching I've decided to see if anyone on the forums has any idea who it is & what it's on.

Help me somebody, it's driving me nuts

As an owner of two Hayseed Dixie albums I can confirm that they do perform Ace of Spades although I don't think it sounds much like Johnny Cash!

I play a Hayseed track at every gig. Usually provokes a reaction pre-buffet and quite often I get approached by a guest enquiring just what it is!

None of the above, but my other half found it online today Union Avenue There's a clip so you can see what I mean (or should that be hear what I mean??)

Thanks for your help anyway.
