hi all,
we currently use a rather ad-hoc system of two semi-domestic cd players wich have been modified by moving the start buttons to the mixer section, although it works well we feel its now a bit out dated and could do with replacement.
as we only go out when we like and dont try and make a career out of it,we were looking at the numark cdn22 mk 4 unit as a replacement, so if you have any comments on this player i would appreciate them.
thanks in advance.......terry.

Its a nice budget CD player, and for the money you wont be disapointed...
all the basic funtions are there and its easy to use.

I used to have The CDN22 player and it wasnt a bad little player. Put it this way you could do a lot worse by buying another make in the same price range.
But the numark is good for the price. It should serve you well.

Ill second that, its about the best of the budget ones, Numark usually specify genuine Sony lasers as well.

I use the Numark CDN22 Mk4 as my main deck. I have found it to be of good build quality and so far has played every CD flawlessly including CD'rs. It cost me £169 in August.
Only gripe is

when fitted into my Kam 2-4-2 flightcase the mixer, (numark CN 100) mic 1 socket XLR is right in the way of deck 1's jog wheel!

We've got 2 mk 3's & a mk 4 CDN22's & never had any problems with them, there is also a mk 3 in the bar I work part time in so I know of 4 that all do their job well
