I reckon OK for backup or kids' parties, but don't drive them too hard as I'd take that 200 watt RMS rating with a pinch of salt.......

Welcome, by the way. 042.gif

My personal opinion on soundlab is , decent lights but not so decent audio stuff, cabs, cd players amps etc.

£100 to start with seems ok for a pair of cabs but like someone said only for small functions and DON`T drive them.

For a ton I`d look for some better 2nd hand cabs.
High Fidelity
There are a few of us here that have used and still use the Soundlab speakers, albeit the 15" 300W ones. I think most agree that they are nice speakers, although they are a little bit "toppy".

I've acctually just put a pair on ebay that are less than 12 months old (starting bid of £150), and already a few people watching them. The wifes getting on to me for the number of speaker cabs around the house.

I bought another pair of speakers, Soundlab Plastic Cabs for £120
And they even came with padded bags for them !

SOUNDLAB SPEAKERS LINK

I think they are the same ones as High Fidelity has got. They are 300watts rms. I drive them at this at the last event and had no probs. I used a graphic eq though which cut the Tops off as they are a little harsh on the tops.

The ebay shop I got them from are still selling the speakers, and are selling AMPs with them now for a little more.
But got too much gear as it is! Parents hate me with 3 pairs of speakers stacked up in the kitchen lol.

Hope this helps.

Oh and Welcome !! 042.gif 042.gif
