Recently, I have been given a big pile of CDs that are free from the newspapers (the best of the 70's etc. etc.). Some of the tracks on there are ones I haven't got in my music collection (only a few).

On the back of some of the CD wallet, it says PUBLIC PERFORMANCE OF THIS CD IS PROHIBITED. Fair enough you'd take a guess and say you can't use them for DJing .

But what about the CDs that don't say anything? Are you aloud to use them?

Just wondering as some of them could be usefull.

every cd I have says Public Performance prohibited including DJ only promo's

Even vinyl says Public Performance Prohibited.

And guess what. All those legal downloads. Read the small print carefully.

ITunes certainly says For Personal Use Only.
