I feel I should know this ....But
Don't know the title or artist but a client has asked for something called the superman song, party cheesy stuff apparently.
Has something to do with cleaning teeth in the lyrics :-)
I really should know it but brain seems to have gone dead with all the late nights recently.
Anyone have any ideas what it is please. and even better what album it's on

Probz Black Lace's one.
I do play cheese, if appropriate, but that one is very cheese! I don't have it and I wouldn't play it, except perhaps under your circumstances.
This makes Agadoo look like Beethoven's Fifth.

Although when asked for Black Lace, I tend to play "The Music Man"

Nothing wrong with playing it, if that's what the customer wants.
I played music man at a wedding a couple of weeks ago when requested by the groom. Went down a storm.

Actually, I quite like Music Man

it reminds me of good times I had in the 80s as a worker in the UK.
I think perhaps though that Black Lace kinda overplayed the concept of action songs. Agadoo is ironic, by the time they got to Superman it's like someone still laughing at a joke ten minutes after it was told....

Bloody awful song, that superman thing..
Still, it makes you smile to see all the idiots looking.... well..... idiotic.
I would never play it unless specifically requested to do so by the client.

I have managed to get away without playing it for 24 years, but I had to borrow it from Marky Marc on Thurday
Many thanks for your help BTW, it was good to see you

I actually have it in my cd case so just had a listen. Almost had to pick the diced carrots out of the keyboard. Don't think I have played it since it was released and had forgotten how bad it was.. Guess I have been lucky. Agadoo has had a few outings unfortunately
