Ok, Following on from music for the hard of hearing. Anyone got suggestions for 4 1/2 hours of wedding music. Normally do up to three hours but not 4.5 ever

Suggest you ask your client for preferences and whether or not the reception will be structured, plus an indication of the various age groups.
That should give you a good starting point.

Make the background set a bit longer as people arrive then just and a few other track that you dont normally play in to each era/section just stick to your normal format. Its hard to say what will or wont fill the extra time as its down to the crowd on the night. This is the sort of job where you find some jem of a track that you havnt played for a while that might just find a place in your normal play list.
