McCardle 1
A bit of a long shot, this one :scared: I've just been given a Cloud DM1200 mixer. Not a bad gift, and it works fine and is in very good condition apart from a couple of very dodgy faders. There are no actual part numbers on the faders, but i've managed to narrow it down to a (possible) Alps part:- RS6011DY 20kbx2 The problem is, that the value in the mixer seems be be a 20k x2 , but the only type which seems commonly available is the 10k version. Alps do still produce the 20k, but want a minimum order of 1000pcs. Cloud obviously don't want to know either as the mixer is an obsolete product :ads: and they replied saying they no longer stock spares for older products. Does anybody know of an alternative, or whether the mixer can be modified to take the more readily available 10k version? fester 0
Maybe give Chris Woodruff at Full Volume a call. He's the guy who used to run the retail DJ side of things at Cloud and now runs his own DJ supplies and repairs business.
